It’s hard to believe that my second semester of film school is over, I am now officially half-way through my time as a student. The even more surreal fact is that I have so many friends who are done with college, yet here I am really just starting.
Over the last year I have had pleasure and the privileged of working with a group of insanely talented people, people who not only share my passion for film but also share a dedication that extends far beyond what is expected by the school. Two years ago I would have never, not even in my wildest dreams, thought that I would be at films school - let alone be working with these people. While it is true that this year had it’s problems, I was hit by a car after all, I would not change anything about this semester (except maybe some sound issues we had with one film).
Not only was this an amazing semester, but I have the feeling it’s going to be an awesome (albeit a stressful) summer. I managed to snag my pre-career dream job at Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea. While I’m a little nervous about working there (they do after all have some of the most amazing and talented Baristas in the states) I’m excited to even have the opportunity to do so.
